Father to Daughter. The wall is cold, icy and hard behind her porcelain skin, but she still leans on it for support. She doesn't have a choice. We're smiling, but we're close to tears.

Okay, here is my rant for the month. I should be doing homework, but I digress. You need to stop putting yourself down. Honest to God I am five minutes from pulling out every strand of hair from my head. When will you realise that my writing isn't any better than yours? That you ARE a good writer. That's why people like your stories, because they're well written. My God it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, and you are far from dumb. We both know that. The insecurity? It kills me, seriously. You have literally nothing to be insecure about, and don't disagree, because I am just as stubborn as you, maybe even more. You don't

There are so many words I could use to describe how amazing you are and how much you mean to me but I think by the time I'm done, I'll be old and grey.
You are the most wonderful big sister I've ever known and I'm so happy to have you in my life. You've given me advice and always been there when I'm in one of my worst moods.
I know I'm probably not the perfect little sister, I know I always complain and I definitely need some more confidence and to stop get used as a doormat but...
Every time I'm around you, I gain a little more confidence and each day I'm growing just a little bit. (Maybe I'll be able to hold my drink one day)
I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you or if we never met, you've had such an impact on my life, because of you I now know what I want to do in life.
(You've even made me appreciate children more. Bahaha)
I know that we're going to grow old together (even though you're determined not to be grey) and that our kids are going to be best friends and their kids will be and so on and so forth.
Over the many years I've known you, we've never had a fight and it's amazing how complete opposites attract. Just remember those two women who walked into your work, it's not a sign. I swear. It has to mean something and I know it does.
